Who's behind this
26 years ago I was exactly where you are. I was a wildland firefighter who wanted a career in the fire service. I enrolled in a college pre-fire service program, went through the process, started as a volunteer, and went career three years later.
I didn't learn this from a textbook. I lived it — from the first application to 21 years on the job. And for years I've been a certified fire instructor at a Pro Board and IFAC recognized institution, teaching hundreds of candidates trying to make the same journey I made.
